Brentwood is a western Los Angeles neighborhood, distinct from the Northern California city of the same name. Residential areas extend from commercial corridors into the Santa Monica Mountains.

Living in Brentwood

Apartments and condominiums cluster near commercial streets, with detached homes on flatter blocks and canyon roads.

San Vicente Boulevard and nearby Getty Center are recognizable Westside destinations.

Brentwood is known for leafy residential streets, the San Vicente Boulevard median that walkers and runners use daily, and a small-town feel around Brentwood Village. The Getty Center and nearby canyon trails are part of everyday life.

Getting around

The I-405 runs along the eastern edge, and Sunset and San Vicente Boulevards link to Santa Monica. Hillside parcels north of Sunset may carry fire-zone and access considerations.
